Three new sets of jewellery

This first set is made from some chandelier crystals that I picked up at the Trash and Treasure markets. These pieces are a little fragile but I'm a big girl now, I think I can be trusted to be careful with them. I love how these look on. Except the ring. It's too big.

I made this pink and black set to go with a new blouse I bought. It's a little TOO matchy matchy with the blouse, so I probably won't wear them with that top now....lol Still, I love the colours and I will wear them with other outfits instead.

Finally, this pearl set was made to wear with a lovely necklace my brother and SIL gave me, to thank me for looking after their dog while they were away. I actually got a gift for playing with a gorgeous, mushy, playful puppy dog. It was like two gifts really. :) This is another set that I really enjoy wearing. This ring fits. :D

I like the moon

I took hundreds of photos of the lunar eclipse. I have two that I like....lol Still, it was a learning experience. Thank goodness for digital cameras!

Craftster swaps

I can be a bit of an internet junkie, and I love to interact with people online. Craftster is a message board that I visit often so I thought I would try a craft swap there. The theme was "Little Shop of Horrors". Here is what I made for my swap partner: My first completed polymer clay piece. This turned out much better than I thought it would. The wire wrapped around the top was salvaged copper wire from some electrical cable.

The earrings were just something cute to include. The process of making the little images for the earrings using duct tape, was from a Craftster tutorial.

This is a close up of the dangles on the pen. I like dangles.

My favourite creation for the swap. This was an entire 52 card deck of cards, altered with a Little Shop of Horrors theme. Each suit had a different focus. It was really hard giving these away. It was nice to read about how much they were loved by my swap partner. :)

It's been a looooooong time...

... but here are some photos of what I have been up to. First up are some miniatures; Jimmy the cave troll (isn't he a darling?), Gimli, and a genestealer.
